EB&T Donation Match
Last summer, Enterprise Bank & Trust announced its collective investment of nearly a half
million dollars over the next three years to seven New Mexico nonprofit organizations through
the Enterprise Bank & Trust Foundation.
ADW was a grantee of up to $60,000 of those funds as part of a matching challenge. Prior to the grant, Enterprise was already a community partner of ADW through major sponsorship of the annual Graduation, as well as through volunteer efforts of the President of the Santa Fe Region, Dion Silva, as a Puppy Raiser.
Dion is currently raising Labrador, Gilda after previously working with ADW graduates, Lennox
and Archie. Part of the dog’s training is to join Dion during his workday on Fridays as he hosts
staff meetings, visits with clients and catches up on work in the office. Dion may be the official
puppy raiser trainer, however, the associates in Santa Fe feel like each dog has become part of
the Enterprise family.
“I’m fortunate to be able to support ADW both personally and with Enterprise Bank & Trust. It is truly rewarding not only for me to work with Gilda, but for my associates and clients,” Silva says.
“These dogs are life-changers for those that they work with. I’m proud to say that Lennox now
serves as a Courthouse Facility Dog for special victims who are required
to testify in the investigation and prosecution of crimes in Los Angeles. And Archie now works one-on-one with a local veteran to support his combat injuries and stress.”
We are currently seeking funds for the second year of the match program provided by Enterprise. Please Donate Now.
Assistance Dogs of the West is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Please note: If ADW has received sufficient funds to cover a specific donation category within a fiscal year, your donation will be used where it is needed most.
